Georgia Guidestones Hit With Explosives – Why Some View Them With Contempt and Suspicion

An explosive damaged the Georgia Guidestones in the early morning of July 6, 2022

The massive 19-foot tall granite Georgia Guidestones in Elbert County, Georgia were partially destroyed by an explosive on July 6, 2022. Click here for details of the incident. The perpetrators so far remain a mystery, which is somewhat ironic, given the mysterious nature of the stones themselves that were erected anonymously over 40 years ago. Click here for a general overview of the stone’s history.

While nothing should be taken for granted in a criminal investigation, it is safe to assume one possible motivation for the destructive act has to do with the various theories regarding the messages inscribed on the stones and opposition to the alleged nefarious motives of the stone’s creators. Indeed, whoever funded and organized the creation of such a massive project in secret may still have a ways and means to certain desired ends, so it would be difficult to not view their motives with at least a bit of suspicion given the inscribed message. So what does it say? There are 10 principles on the stones written in 8 languages:

  1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
  2. Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity.
  3. Unite humanity with a living new language.
  4. Rule passion — faith — tradition — and all things with tempered reason.
  5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
  6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
  7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
  8. Balance personal rights with social duties.
  9. Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite.
  10. Be not a cancer on the Earth — Leave room for nature — Leave room for nature.

“Let these be guidestones to an age of reason,” an inscription also reads at the site. Just the opinion on proper living by a group of humanist eccentrics? a possible plan for the repopulation and governance of humanity after the apocalypse? These are some theories that have been floated by observers.

Some of the principles listed however, are compatible with the beliefs of powerful people interested in establishing a New World Order- a global government structure meant to eventually replace the current liberal, anarchic world order of sovereign nation-states, or at least impose further restrictions and controls upon it. Principles #5, #6 and possibly #3 reflect this structure, albeit in a very general way. In the 40+ years since the guidestones have been erected, the “New World Order” in itself has moved out of the realm of conspiracy theory and into the realm of proposed policy reality on the international stage. Mainstream politicians spout the “New World Order” and “Great Reset” rhetoric, policy documents of International Organizations and NGOs reflect it, proposed treaties capitalize on threats of global significance (such as wars, pandemics, natural disasters, environmental concern, etc.) to further its aims, the governance of global corporate firms evolve to incorporate it, and the economic and financial interconnectivity of the world generally increases along with the rise of power of more autocratic regimes such as China.

The real problem for some people however begins with the accompanying conspiracy theories of alleged nefarious motives of many of the people and groups that hold these New World Order beliefs. Genocide on a worldwide scale (through war, famine, genetic manipulation, etc), forced eugenics, restrictions on the freedom of action of the population, the rise of the technocratic police state, and total control of resources and economic activity are among these allegations. For people that suspect this may be the case, the principles on the guidestones, especially #1 and #2, raise serious concerns, as the current population of the planet is north of 4.6 billion people.

Would anyone bring this all about to further their goals? You can decide that on your own. But one thing is for sure, if you truly believed this to be the case, you’d probably want to knock down those stones too.
